Miika Vähäkainu is the CEO and a Founding Partner of Signum Asset Management. He has over 15 years of experience in wealth management and investment services. At Signum, Miika is responsible for the company's operations and client relations. Prior to founding Signum, he worked at Evli Bank Plc.

Miika’s career began in 2007 within the investment services sector, where he has since accumulated extensive and diverse expertise in capital markets, asset management strategies, and investment solutions. In addition to his background in asset management, he has worked as a management consultant specializing in business transformation. Since 2012, Miika has also gained significant experience in corporate governance through his own entrepreneurial ventures. In addition to his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Haaga-Helia, Miika holds the APV1 Investment Service Qualification from Aalto University.

Ari Aaltonen

Ari Aaltonen is the Chief Investment Officer and a Founding Partner of Signum Asset Management. He has an extensive career spanning over 40 years in asset management and financial markets. At Signum, Ari is responsible for portfolio management and the development of the firm's investment strategies. Before co-founding Signum, he served as the Chief Strategist at Front Capital.

Ari’s distinguished career began in 1984. He has held several prestigious positions, including serving as an Economist at the Bank of Finland and as the Chief Economist for two major banking groups: the Savings Bank Group and Postipankki. Since 1997, he has focused on asset management, with a track record that includes portfolio management, investment leadership, and serving as the CEO of an asset management firm. Ari holds a Master of Social Sciences (M.Soc.Sc.) degree from the University of Helsinki, with a major in Economics.

Panu Immonen

Panu Immonen serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Signum Asset Management. Panu is responsible for regulatory reporting, risk management, and compliance matters related to Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. With over 10 years of experience in the investment sector, his background spans various roles in both sales and administration. Panu holds a Master of Science (Economics and Business Administration) degree from Aalto University, where he majored in Economics. Additionally, he has completed the APV1 Investment Service Qualification at Aalto University.
